Overview
A web platform that takes a maker from material prices to a finished customer quote. It calculates what each product really costs, applies the profit the owner wants, and freezes the prices in the quote that goes to the customer.
The challenge
Makers and small manufacturers price jobs from memory or spreadsheets. When a material price changes, old quotes and margins quietly stop being true, and nobody can say what a product really costs or what profit is left.
Our solution
We built a costing library where products store material quantities and prices are looked up live, so one price change flows through every product. Quotes take a snapshot of the prices at creation, so a customer's quote never changes underneath them, and a sales pipeline tracks each job from draft to delivery.
